Course description

Learn Arabic as intensively as in 4 weeks, 5 days a week, 4 hours a day!

This course is an introduction to Arabic, designed for students with no knowledge of the language. Students will learn how to speak, read and write in Modern Classical Arabic.

We will start with the alphabet and move gradually to learn various language skills. We will place emphasis on developing speaking and listening skills through intensive drills, exposure to basic structural patterns, and functional vocabulary.

In-classroom oral drills will be conducted to help memorize the covered material. In addition, the class will be conducted in Arabic, to the extent possible.

The course will also introduce cultural components in the Middle East and North Africa.
