"I am deaf and knows very basic one word arabic through interaction online. I am a new muslim. I am interested in learning more arabic, but the problem is most courses offered are audio types! I also want to learn belly dance! I am in a huge financial"

"Salam, I am a Very outgoing funny and highly motivated and beautiful person. I love to "shine" outside the box. I am deaf and speaks very well."

What is your favorite Middle Eastern Dish?

"Moroccan chicken B'stilla! Lamb shawarma with steamed vegetables. Puree tomato sauce with eggplant!MMMM...To drink, some milk puree with some juice. Top all that with some Mint tea made from milk with some Baklava and pastry as well as rice puddling with cinnamon."

How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?

"Through my love of researching online! I want the whole works of Muslim, arabic culture, belly dancing, clothing, volunteering, cooking and being involved in the community in a positive environment. Inchalallah."

Have you visited the Middle East, and, if so, where and in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US?Do you speak other languages besides English & Arabic?Feel free to share whatever info you'd like.

"Never! My dream to travel to and live in Morocco for 1 to 2 years! Single mom isolated me in Minnesota! During college life, i began traveling by car then air. Im addicted to flying! I learned and broke my fear my first foriegn language, Spanish in 2006!"

Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha?) Can you read, write & speak Fusha? Answering this question will help us to better offer suitable language workshops for the club.

"I regularly communicate with Moroccan friends online daily. I also know several Quran verses. I hope to learn more daily, Inchalallah. God be Willing if Allah want."
