- How did you find this group and, now that you're here, what do you want from it? For example, do you prefer Middle Eastern Music events, Dinner Parties, Language Workshops, Live Theatre, or just getting together to meet new people and have fun?
- "Getting together to meet new people. I am a member of the American Bahraini Friendship Society."
- Have you visited the Middle East, and, if so, where and in what capacity? For that matter, where have you traveled outside the US?Do you speak other languages besides English & Arabic?Feel free to share whatever info you'd like.
- "I'm Bahraini and have lived in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait and Yemen... But I spent most of life in the UK."
- Do you speak Arabic? If so, what dialect(s). Do you know Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha?) Can you read, write & speak Fusha? Answering this question will help us to better offer suitable language workshops for the club.
- "I speak Arabic with a mostly Bahraini accent (some Lebanese words sneak in). I can read write and speak Fusha. I do not need to learn Arabic but I am interested in meeting Arabic language students to find out about resources in the area."
